In recent times, the work of maintaining traffic order and safety in school areas in the city has had many positive changes, traffic accidents related to school age have been reduced. However, there is still a situation where some students are not qualified to drive motorbikes with cylinder capacity over 50 cc, posing a potential risk to safety and causing public outrage.
To overcome this situation, units under the Traffic Police Department coordinated with the commune-level police and school principals to inspect the school parking lots and the area around the school gates. The working groups inspected the parking of motorbikes, detected students using motorbikes with excessive engine capacity, checked the trunks of motorbikes to prevent the storage of weapons, and reminded people to wear helmets properly.

In case of detecting violations, the authorities will invite parents to work, clearly inform them of the violation, and require them to sign a commitment not to give their children the vehicle when they are not old enough to drive; and at the same time, coordinate with the school to strictly manage the use of motorbikes by students.
In addition, the working groups propagate and request schools and surrounding households not to organize motorbike parking for students; thoroughly handle spontaneous parking spots, and at the same time inspect repair facilities, "modify vehicles", and manufacture components to serve the purpose of changing the structure of vehicles to prevent students and teenagers from gathering, driving at high speeds, weaving, and swerving.
According to the Traffic Police Department, in the coming time, the unit will continue to maintain inspections and strictly handle traffic safety violations related to students, thereby raising awareness of traffic law compliance among parents and students, contributing to ensuring traffic safety at schools in the city.
