On the morning of October 24th, Mr. Dang Ha Viet held a meeting with the High-Performance Sports Department II, My Dinh National Sports Complex, and the Hanoi National Sports Training Center to hear explanations and clarify responsibilities regarding the 800,000 VND meal incident for the national youth table tennis team.
" I request clarification of the responsibilities of the individuals and groups involved, and I instruct the My Dinh National Sports Complex and the National Sports Training Center to revise their reports this afternoon to clarify responsibilities ," Mr. Dang Ha Viet added.
The Director of the Department of Sports and Physical Education also stated that all relevant parties accepted responsibility during this meeting and will submit a written report.

Following reports that the 800,000 VND meal allowance for the national youth table tennis team was not commensurate with the athletes' entitlements as stipulated by regulations, and that the head coach had collected certain fees from the athletes, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed a comprehensive inspection and review of training practices in the national teams.
Mr. Dang Ha Viet further shared: " The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism wants to handle everything quickly. Things are already slow, so I request that all parties attend a meeting this morning ."
The Department of Sports and Physical Education has decided to withdraw head coach Bui Xuan Ha and assistant coach To Minh. Mr. Phan Anh Tuan - in charge of table tennis at the Department of Sports and Physical Education - has also submitted his resignation due to lax management.
The national youth table tennis team has also been moved to the National Sports Training Center in Hanoi for accommodation and training. Previously, due to the center's lack of facilities, the team had been temporarily trained at the My Dinh National Sports Complex.
