The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) stated that the goalkeeper of Kien Giang Club acted improperly, distorting the result of the match between Kien Giang and Dong Nai in the 2023 National Second Division League on July 30, 2023.

In this match, Dong Nai desperately needs 3 points to secure a spot in the play-off round for promotion to the First Division.

In the aforementioned match, goalkeeper Nguyen Van Ba ​​underperformed, making repeated mistakes and contributing to his team's 0-6 defeat.

Nguyen Van Ba ​​is a product of SLNA's youth academy. In 2017, he had a trial with the first team and made a strong impression.

Subsequently, the goalkeeper, born in 2001, was called up to join the Vietnam U19 team to participate in a series of important international tournaments.

Van Ba ​​possesses excellent reflexes and the ability to move in and out of positions effectively. In addition, he has a very good height.
