At about 5:55 p.m. on September 10, a 4-meter-high embankment suddenly collapsed, dragging a large amount of soil down to alley 3B, Ba Thang Tu street, Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat ( Lam Dong province).

Immediately after the incident, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat sent forces to cordon off the area and ensure safety in the area.

Landslide area

According to the Lam Dong Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from noon to the evening of September 10, some areas recorded heavy rainfall, including Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat. Soil moisture in some areas in Lam Dong was nearly saturated (over 85%) or in a saturated state, causing the risk of landslides and land subsidence on slopes, mountain passes, positive slopes, and traffic roads.

Previously, SGGP Newspaper reported that due to heavy rain that occurred at noon the same day, many roads in Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong Province) were deeply flooded.
