Da Lat: Giving charity houses, health insurance cards and gifts to people in difficult circumstances

(LĐ online) - On the morning of May 8, continuing to implement the Humanitarian Month 2025 on the occasion of the culmination of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, the Da Lat City Red Cross Society coordinated with the Ward 10 Red Cross Society, local authorities and sponsors to organize many meaningful activities to help people in difficult circumstances in the area.

The program organized the handover of a well-built charity house with a budget of 75 million VND from the sponsorship of Merperle Dalat Hotel (Ward 10, Dalat) to the family of Ms. Le Thi Thanh Ha residing on Hoang Hoa Tham Street.

Previously, through a survey by the Red Cross Society of Ward 10, this is a family in difficult circumstances, members are working for hire, have unstable income and have difficulty with housing.

During the handover ceremony of the charity house, the Red Cross Society of Da Lat City presented a plaque of recognition for the golden heart to the representative of the sponsoring unit, Mr. Doan Quoc Son - Director of Merperle Da Lat Hotel, who accompanied the Society on the Humanitarian Journey - Spreading love to difficult circumstances in the area.

During the program, representatives of local authorities, leaders of Ward 10, the Red Cross Society of Ward 10 and Da Lat City presented 15 health insurance cards worth nearly 15 million VND to patients and people from disadvantaged families who are often sick to facilitate health care and reduce the burden of medical examination and treatment costs.

At the same time, the program awarded 150 gifts, worth 850 thousand VND/gift, which were essential foods mobilized by the Red Cross Society of Ward 10 to help families in difficult circumstances improve their daily meals.
