On May 15, the People's Committee of Da Nang City said at a meeting on preparations for the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, the leaders of the People's Committee of Da Nang City requested to prepare everything well to ensure a successful and safe fireworks season, leaving a good impression on tourists and residents.

According to the leaders of Da Nang City, by May 14, preparations for the fireworks festival are basically underway. The grandstand system is being urgently constructed, along with the shooting range for the 6 nights of performances.

It is expected that during the fireworks festival, a large number of tourists and residents will flock to Da Nang City. Da Nang City requires units to prepare plans to ensure safety, regulate traffic, and ensure security.

The People's Committees of Hai Chau and Son Tra districts - two central districts located on both sides of the Han River - are required to increase inspection and review of vehicle parking lots. In addition, it is necessary to arrange forces to inspect the situation of goods, stabilize the market, food safety and hygiene, fire prevention and fighting, etc.

The Inland Waterways Port Authority said it has sent a document announcing the temporary suspension of operations at the Han River port from May 7 to July 24, 2025, to hand over the entire Han River port site toSun Group Corporation - the partner of the fireworks festival.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang, the scenarios for the 6 nights of fireworks displays are being completed for approval.

The DIFF 2025 International Fireworks Festival is organized by the Da Nang City People's Committee, with the support of Sun Group Corporation. The opening night will take place at 8:10 p.m. on May 31, and the closing ceremony will take place on July 12.

DIFF 2025 has the theme "Da Nang - New Era", with 10 teams including Vietnam (2 teams), Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada and China.

Vietnam Team 1 will perform on the opening night with the reigning DIFF 2024 champion Finland.

According to the organizers, this year the festival has received a larger investment with a technology system to support increased interaction with visitors, and the stands are also 60% larger than previous years.
