The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Mai Son Commune, term 2025

During the past term, the work of the Mai Son Commune Front has achieved many outstanding results, effectively promoting the great solidarity of the people, mobilizing the people to actively respond to patriotic emulation movements, major campaigns such as: "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "Solidarity, creativity, developing the homeland". Promoting the tradition of solidarity, the spirit of mutual love "The poor help the poor", "Do not leave the poor behind", thereby contributing to raising the awareness of the people of the whole commune about the program of eliminating temporary houses and dilapidated houses. The Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with organizations, individuals, philanthropists inside and outside the commune, families, clans, and local people to support the elimination of 80 houses, with a total value of 3,640 billion VND, 160 working days. By the end of 2025, the whole commune will have 11 villages, hamlets, and sub-regions achieving new rural status... Playing a good role as a bridge between the people and the Party and the government, making an important contribution to socio- economic development and maintaining national defense and security in the locality.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Tran Dac Thang, Secretary of the Mai Son Commune Party Committee, praised the results achieved by the Commune Fatherland Front in the past term, and at the same time proposed that in the coming term, the Commune Fatherland Front should focus on strongly innovating the content and methods of operation of the Front in a substantive, practical and effective direction; improve the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism activities, participate in Party building and government building; perform well the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the People. Promote the role and responsibility of member organizations of the Front in propaganda work, mobilizing the People to promote the spirit of self-management, creativity, consensus, and participate in successfully implementing the goal of making Mai Son commune a fairly developed commune in Son La province.

The Congress elected 62 delegates to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Mai Son commune for the first time, term 2025 - 2030; elected 3 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 16th Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Son La province, term 2025 - 2030.
