Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Huy, Head of the Army Youth Union, Permanent Deputy Head of the Congress Organizing Committee chaired the press meeting.

Information at the press meeting said that by November 30, 100% of agencies and units in the entire army had directed and completed organizing congresses (conferences) of the delegation from the grassroots level to the level directly under the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense . The congresses and conferences were all organized in accordance with procedures, principles, and quality; contributing many enthusiastic, intellectual, and responsible opinions to the draft Political Report of the General Department of Politics and of the Central Executive Committee of the 12th term Youth Union.

For the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Army, the Army Youth Union has proactively advised, coordinated, and done well in all aspects of preparation work, and has basically completed all contents. The special point is that this congress has a short preparation time and takes place in comparison with previous congresses; the congress strongly applies digital transformation to the stages of document distribution, delegate roll call, etc.

The congress is scheduled to take place over two days (December 9 and 10, 2025) at the Ministry of National Defense Hall, with the participation of 400 official delegates. The theme of the congress, which is also the title of the political report, is: "Young Army - Brave, pioneering, breakthrough, developing, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers, confidently stepping into the new era". The slogan for action is: "Young Army - Brave, pioneering, breakthrough, developing".

The Congress has 3 tasks: Summarizing and evaluating the work of the Youth Union and the Army's youth movement for 3 years (2022-2025), determining the direction, goals and tasks of the Youth Union and the Army's youth movement for 5 years (2025-2030), awarding emulation movements (2022-2025) and launching emulation movements (2025-2030).

Next, comments were given on draft documents of the 12th Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union to be submitted to the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. The third content was to elect a delegation of Military Youth to attend the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Nu Que Phuong, Deputy Head of the Press and Information Department (Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics) oriented some contents that need to be focused on propaganda at the congress.

In addition to the above tasks, at the congress, delegates will attend the incense and flower offering ceremony at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs (Bac Son Street, Hanoi); offer flowers, report achievements, visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; visit the Ho Chi Minh Museum; enjoy a special art program to welcome the congress...

Representatives of reporters and officials of news agencies and press discussed and asked questions to clarify some related contents, especially the official and sideline activities, significance, new points, preparation steps... of the congress and contents related to press activities at the congress. All questions from reporters were answered fully and in detail by the leaders of the Military Youth Union.

At the meeting, the Military Youth Union organized an award ceremony for the contest to create the logo and emblem of the congress. Accordingly, the group of authors from the General Department of Logistics and Technology was awarded first prize and the group's logo was chosen as the official logo of the congress.
