The 4th Congress of Quang Tri Provincial Lawyers Association will take place in 2025

This morning, January 7, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang chaired a working session with the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Lawyers Association on organizing the 4th Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Lawyers Association, term 2024 - 2029. Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee Phan Van Phung; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Ly Kieu Van; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam attended the working session.

As planned, the 4th Congress of the Provincial Bar Association, term 2024 - 2029, will be held for 2 days, in 2025. The Congress will approve the summary report of the activities of the Provincial Bar Association, term III, term 2019 - 2024, the direction and tasks of term IV, term 2024 - 2029; and the review report of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Bar Association, term III, term 2019 - 2024.

At the same time, the executive committee, inspection committee, standing committee, president, vice presidents of the association for the 4th term, 2024 - 2029; and the delegation to attend the 14th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Lawyers Association were elected.

The congress's personnel plan includes: electing the Executive Committee of the Provincial Bar Association for the 4th term, 2024 - 2029, with 17 members, including 1 chairman, 2 vice chairmen, 1 secretary, and 1 head of the inspection committee.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated the role, responsibility and results of performing the tasks assigned by the Party and State in the past term.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested that the political report at the congress must demonstrate key, specific tasks and focused implementation solutions, including four main tasks: Participating in the development of policies, laws and legal documents; disseminating and educating the law; providing legal advice and legal aid; supervising, criticizing and participating in Party and government building.

At the same time, strengthen the work of building a strong association, quality of members, and effective implementation of work.

Regarding personnel, agree with the project submitted by the Lawyers Association, and at the same time assign the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to guide the implementation of personnel procedures in accordance with regulations.
