On June 15, the Ministry of Education and Training held a national online conference on the organization of the 2023 high school graduation exam. Comrade Nguyen Kim Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training attended at the central bridge point .
Attending at Vinh Phuc bridge point were comrade Vu Viet Van, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the 2023 Provincial High School Graduation Exam.
The 2023 high school graduation exam will take place from June 27-30. On June 27, candidates will complete the exam registration procedures. On June 28-29, candidates will take the exam and June 30 is the backup exam date. From July 1, the exam will be graded; the exam results will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 18, and the high school graduation recognition will be completed by July 20 at the latest.
Speaking at the conference, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son emphasized that the high school graduation exam is a particularly important exam, so all levels, sectors and localities need to promote a sense of responsibility to ensure the organization of the exam is scientific , fair, transparent and in accordance with regulations.
During the organization of the exam, the activities of the Provincial Exam Steering Committee and the National Exam Steering Committee must be unified and smooth so that all activities take place in the best way. Localities need to prioritize preparing facilities and equipment to be ready to serve the exam; prioritize the organization, human resource arrangement, and increase training for exam invigilators.
The tasks of printing, transporting, storing, and submitting exam papers require specific plans, especially plans to deal with extreme weather conditions. In areas where exam papers are printed, graded, and exam sites, fire prevention and fighting must be implemented well to prevent fires and explosions.
During the exam period, provinces and cities need to work with the Electricity sector to ensure power supply for exam locations, areas for printing and grading exams. Regarding communication work, there needs to be a plan to quickly and widely disseminate information about the exam so that people know.
Concluding the conference, the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training assessed that currently, the 7 basic factors to serve the exam have been carefully and thoroughly prepared. The leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training suggested that all levels, sectors, localities and all officials ofthe education sector need to continue to raise awareness and the importance of the exam; strengthen training for exam supervisors, select experienced and capable officials to participate in training for exam supervisors; pay special attention to the material facilities, ensuring the health of officials serving in the areas of printing and grading exam papers in the localities.
At the same time, it is necessary to establish inspection teams to monitor the exam; proactively anticipate extreme weather situations to have response plans; pay special attention to supporting students participating in the exam...
After the national online conference, the Provincial High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee 2023 met to discuss the actual situation of exam preparation in Vinh Phuc. Directing at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Viet Van requested to strengthen the safety of exam sites, exam areas, and candidates participating in the exam.
Before June 26, the Provincial People's Committee must report on the conditions for the exam and report on backup plans. At the same time, review all aspects related to facilities and human resources for the exam; carefully prepare medical conditions, ensure traffic safety during the exam, and promptly support candidates in case of problems on the way to the exam site.
The youth volunteer force participating in the exam support must have a scientific and effective plan. Localities coordinate with sectors to deploy contingency plans at exam sites at risk of flooding.
Schools review electrical systems and backup generators for exams; continue to improve the effectiveness of review work for students.
District and city leaders must proactively inspect the conditions of facilities and equipment at examination sites, strengthen propaganda about the exam and have timely solutions to remove difficulties and problems that arise... in order to best complete the 2023 high school graduation exam in the province.
