On the morning of December 2, the Vietnam Advertising Association (VAA) launched the Vietnam KOL&KOC Club at Sky Expo Vietnam (Trung My Tay Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). First runner-up Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 Le Phan Hanh Nguyen, Miss Truong Ho Phuong Nga, MC Hoang Viet, KOL Nguyen Minh Tan, KOL Kha Tran... are the first KOLs and KOLs to join this Club.
The establishment of this club is expected to contribute to standardizing professional activities, creating a transparent and responsible environment and elevating the digital content industry in the upcoming period of strong development.
In recent years, KOLs and KOCs have become a major influence in media and e-commerce. A-KOL’s survey shows that 79% of online consumers in Vietnam have purchased products based on recommendations from influencers.

According to Mr. Nguyen Truong Son, Chairman of VAA, the establishment of the Vietnam KOL&KOC Club aims to gather a force of honest professionals, aiming for a transparent and sustainable operating environment. Mr. Son believes that this is an appropriate step in the context of the need to guide, standardize and strengthen the responsibility of influencers in the digital environment.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, hopes that the Vietnam KOL&KOC Club will become an important bridge between the state and the content creation community, helping to quickly and accurately convey legal regulations to each member.
"Each KOL and KOC must be the one to spread honest information, promote social responsibility, use their influence to promote positive values, participate in propaganda activities about civilized lifestyle and build a healthy cultural environment in digital space" - Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy emphasized.

KOL&KOCs become members of the Vietnam KOL&KOC Club
At the launching ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Dan Thanh - General Director of MVOT, Head of the Vietnam KOL&KOC Club - highlighted three core values for members: legal safety, reputation verification mechanism and expanding career connections. The Club also announced a series of tools to support professionalization of content creation activities: Vietnam KOL&KOC Handbook, Media Pass card, certification training program and KOL Plus application.
