In a solemn and meaningful atmosphere on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Provincial Party Committee, on behalf of the Party Committee, government, military, and people of all ethnic groups in the province, comrades Ha Son Nhin - former member of the Central Committee of the Party, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, rang bells and drums and offered flowers and incense at the memorial house, expressing their profound respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the national liberation hero, the brilliant leader of the Party and the people; and at the same time expressing their gratitude to the generations of cadres, soldiers, and people in the revolutionary base areas of Gia Lai province who, during the arduous and fierce years of war, bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation, for the happiness of the people, and for the survival of the country.

Responding to the urgent demands of the revolutionary movement, on February 28, 1962, the revolutionary base area of Zone 10 was established in the primeval forest of Krong commune. From that moment on, Zone 10 became the provincial headquarters, operating and leading the successful resistance war against the US, liberating the province on March 17, 1975, contributing to the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

In keeping with the tradition of "Drinking water, remembering the source," the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee directed the construction of the province's revolutionary historical relic site in Krong commune, recreating the life, battles, and activities of the past, commemorating their contributions and showing respect to the older generations, in a solemn, respectful complex, accurately depicting each location during wartime.
