The Quang Nam Provincial Police Party Committee effectively leads the implementation of many aspects of work

(QNO) - This morning, June 15th, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Tri Thanh, and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Lan attended the mid-term review conference for the 2020-2025 term and the review of Party work in the first six months of the year of the Quang Nam Provincial Police Party Committee.

Reporting at the conference, Major General Nguyen Duc Dung - Director of the Provincial Police Department - informed that, during the first half of its term, the Quang Nam Provincial Police Party Committee had proactively led the effort to firmly grasp the security situation regarding the border, ethnic groups, religion, internal political security, economy, and cybersecurity.

The timely advice provided to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee has enabled effective leadership in ensuring security and order in the area, preventing the occurrence of "hot spots," complex complaints, riots, and terrorism.

Over the past half-term, the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee of Public Security has successfully completed its tasks, making significant contributions to the economic , social, cultural, and foreign relations development of the locality.

The Quang Nam Provincial Police Party Committee has decisively directed intensive campaigns to combat and suppress all types of crime, contributing to curbing the increase in crime. Important activities have been effectively implemented by the department, such as the "Project for the production, issuance, and management of citizen identification cards," the "Government's Project 06/CP on the development of population data applications, electronic identification and authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030"; and strengthening fire prevention and control, ensuring traffic safety and order...

Notably, the Party Committee and its Standing Committee have focused on leading and directing the promotion of advising and organizing the implementation of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW, dated March 16, 2022, of the Politburo on strengthening the building of a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern People's Public Security force, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

In the first six months of 2023, security and order in the area continued to be maintained; the issuance of citizen identification cards and the installation and activation of electronic identification records were accelerated...

Notably, the Quang Nam Provincial Police successfully organized the "Outstanding Party Branch Secretary" competition within the Provincial Police Party Committee; organized activities commemorating the 75th anniversary of the traditional day of building the People's Police force; the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Six Teachings to the People's Police; the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation and commendation of advanced models; and assisted the Ministry of Public Security in successfully organizing the final round of the 2nd Military and Martial Arts Competition for the People's Police force in direct combat in 2023...

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Tri Thanh highly appreciated the achievements of the Provincial Public Security Party Committee in leading the implementation of assigned political tasks during the first half of the 2020-2025 term and the first six months of 2023.
