On the evening of September 12, Dang Thai Huyen posted a long post on her personal page after the movie Red Rain that she directed surpassed the revenue mark of 600 billion VND. The director said that in the past few days, she has read and received many comments, both compliments and criticisms from the audience. Dang Thai Huyen shared that she often pays attention to negative comments to learn from experience and improve in future projects.
However, the director of Red Rain believes that having to put all the historical details and events into a film is beyond her ability. She wrote: "In the future, if I make a historical film or a revolutionary war film, I still won't be able to put all the history into the film. I also can't wander around day after day, month after month, meeting all the witnesses that everyone points out as this witness or that witness is correct... to absorb all the opinions."
She added: "I only select the things that can be conveyed through the film. And if the audience, after watching the film, is inspired to learn more deeply about historical stories, to love their ancestors, to love their country and to cherish peace ..., then I am happy."
Dang Thai Huyen said she was exhausted after a series of days of filming and launching projects.

The director of Red Rain 's sharing attracted attention. In the comment section, audiences and colleagues encouraged and sympathized with Dang Thai Huyen's difficulties.
Previously, she also attracted attention when she posted on her personal page, calling on the audience not to secretly film or reveal movie content.
"The entire crew has been preparing for many years. 81 days and nights of hard work, dedication, blood, sweat, and tears were shed on set. Please, moviegoers, please love the crew, don't spoil the content, take and film important scenes and post them online to reveal the entire content of the movie," Dang Thai Huyen wrote.
The director added: "Everyone, please love and appreciate the crew's efforts. Please stop doing that. Give us more motivation to dedicate ourselves to the next products."
Currently, after more than 3 weeks of showing, Red Rain has brought in 616 billion VND, becoming the highest-grossing Vietnamese film in history. Observers predict that the film will end its box office journey with a revenue of 650-700 billion VND.
