Ha Tinh has 2 inter-level boarding school projects that started construction simultaneously on November 9.

(Baohatinh.vn) - Two projects in Ha Tinh that have started construction are Son Kim 1 Primary - Secondary Boarding School and Huong Khe Primary - Secondary Boarding School.

Implementing Resolution No. 298/NQ-CP dated September 26, 2025 of the Government on the Action Plan to implement the Notice of Conclusion No. 81-TB/TW of the Politburo on the policy of investing in building schools for border communes, along with the direction of the Prime Minister in Document No. 10194/VPCP-KGVX dated October 21, 2025, the People's Committees of provinces and localities have deployed preparations to simultaneously organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of inter-level primary and secondary boarding schools in border communes nationwide on November 9.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Trong Hai and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha chaired a meeting to listen to reports on preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony for school construction in Son Kim 1 commune and Huong Khe commune (October 29).

In Ha Tinh - one of 22 provinces with land borders and 7 border communes, the Provincial People's Committee has directed departments, branches and local authorities to complete the survey, make a list and propose investment in 7 school projects in the period of 2025 - 2026, with a total investment of more than 740 billion VND. Of which, 2 projects will start construction in 2025 with a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND, including Son Kim 1 Primary - Secondary Boarding School and Huong Khe Primary - Secondary Boarding School; the remaining 5 projects are expected to be implemented in 2026 with a total investment of more than 440 billion VND, in the communes of Son Kim 2, Son Hong, Vu Quang, Huong Xuan, and Huong Binh.

The completed projects contribute to meeting the learning needs of students in border areas, while improving living and teaching conditions for teachers.

The simultaneous groundbreaking of inter-level boarding schools in border communes in November 2025 is a step to concretize the Party and State's policy on developing education in ethnic minority areas, contributing to narrowing regional gaps, creating a premise for human resource development and improving the lives of people in border areas.

On July 18, 2025, the Politburo issued Conclusion Notice No. 81-TB/TW on the policy of building schools for border communes.

Accordingly, the Politburo agreed on the policy of investing in the construction of primary and secondary boarding schools in 248 border communes across the country. In the immediate future, the pilot investment will complete the construction or renovation of 100 schools in 2025 (at the latest by the time of the next school year). These schools will be models for further widespread implementation, completing the investment goal of building 248 schools in the next 2-3 years.

Schools that are invested in construction must ensure technical standards, scale, area of ​​the school and classrooms; have adequate facilities to serve learning, cultural, spiritual, physical training, living conditions and absolute safety.
