The exam site of Duy Tien B High School, Ha Nam province has 605 candidates taking the exam with 26 official exam rooms, 6 waiting rooms and 2 spare rooms. The total number of staff working at the exam site is 85 people, of which 59 are exam invigilators.
The Bien Hoa Specialized High School, Ha Nam Province has a total of 425 registered candidates with 19 official examination rooms. The number of staff working on the examination at this examination site is 62 people.
At the two examination sites, Minister Nguyen Kim Son inspected the Council room, some examination rooms, talked and encouraged the candidates and teachers on duty at the examination sites.
The Minister wished the candidates to complete the exams well and fulfill their study aspirations after graduating from high school as desired; wished the teachers and examination staff to successfully complete the task of organizing the exam.
In the 2024 high school graduation exam, Ha Nam has 9,677 candidates registered to take the exam. The Examination Council of the Ha Nam Department of Education and Training has 23 exam sites located in 23 high schools with 420 exam rooms, 67 waiting rooms and 46 spare rooms. The number of cadres, civil servants and public employees mobilized to participate in the exam is 1,807 people.
The testing sites have fully prepared facilities, security camera systems in the exam management rooms, medical rooms, exam rooms, backup rooms, places to store candidates' belongings at least 25m away from the exam rooms, and the common working room of the testing site according to regulations.
Through inspections at a number of testing sites in Ha Nam province, the Minister assessed that preparations for the exam had been carefully carried out by the locality, including preparations for facilities, training and guidance for staff as well as support for students...
According to the Minister, this year the Ministry of Education and Training has directed all provincial and municipal Departments of Education and Training to focus on providing support for candidates. In addition to the fact that this is the exam for the last generation of students studying under the 2006 general education program, this year's candidates are also students who have been greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and have had adjustments in their curriculum.
“The leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training have reminded the Departments of Education and Training to actively support candidates in reviewing. The process of preparing the exam questions also needs to be consistent with the content that has been streamlined in the teaching and learning program,” said the Minister, emphasizing that the important factor is still how to help candidates maximize their abilities, skills, knowledge and perform best through their exam.
The Minister added that for remote provinces and localities affected by the weather, the provinces have proactively supported candidates to move to the exam site earlier and according to information obtained by the Ministry of Education and Training, as of early this morning, the localities with the highest number of candidates returning to take the exam.
Sending a message to more than one million candidates taking the 2024 high school graduation exam, the Minister hopes that they will be calm, confident, and express themselves in the best way possible.
