Proposal to support 500 thousand VND/month for Community Digital Technology Team

The Department of Information and Communications of Quang Nam has just submitted a document requesting the Provincial People's Committee to consider and report to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for approval to develop a Resolution stipulating the level of support for the activities of the CNSCD Team in Quang Nam province for the period 2025 - 2026.

Accordingly, the Department of Information and Communications proposed 2 support options, specifically: Option 1: Support funding of 500,000 VND/team/month. Option 2: Support operating expenses (gasoline, communication, stationery) for members of the CNSCĐ Team at 50,000 VND/person/month. Support working days for members of the CNSCĐ Team and individuals mobilized by the Chairman of the People's Committee at all levels to participate in supporting the tasks of the CNSCĐ Team are supported at 150,000 VND/person/day.

After review and evaluation, the Department of Information and Communications proposed to regulate the support level for the activities of the CNSCD Team according to option 1, which is to support 500 thousand VND/team/month, with a maximum support period of 24 months. The total estimated cost of implementation is 7.44 billion VND/year.

According to the Department of Information and Communications, as of the second quarter of 2024, the province has 1,218 CNSCĐ Teams/1,240 villages, with over 7,000 members. Each CNSCĐ Team has at least 5-6 people, the team members include commune officials, party cell secretaries, youth union branches, women's unions, farmers' unions, etc.

The regulation of support levels for the activities of the CNSCĐ Team aims to motivate and encourage the CNSCĐ Team to continue contributing to the implementation of tasks according to the orientation and plan of digital transformation in the locality.

Nationwide, there are currently 4 provinces that have issued Resolutions regulating support policies for the CSCD Team, including Yen Bai, Binh Duong , Ha Tinh and Da Nang City.
In the province, there are currently 2 localities supporting funding for the activities of the CNSCĐ Team. Of which, Nong Son district supports funding for training to update knowledge and skills in digital transformation for the CNSCĐ Teams with a total amount of 23 million VND to implement the task; Phu Ninh district supports the implementation of the CNSCĐ Team's tasks with 6 million VND/team/year.
