Diva Thanh Lam and Quang Ha perform without receiving any salary

According to People's Artist Quoc Hung – General Director, "Golden Autumn" is an annual program that marks the milestone of the Vocal Music Department. Vietnam National Academy of Music. Previously titled "Returning Home," this year the program has been renamed "Golden Autumn"—the most beautiful season in Hanoi —to pay tribute to the teachers who have nurtured leading artists and lecturers of Vietnamese vocal music.

This year, the program features many "breakthrough" changes with the goal of bringing music closer to a wider audience. While previous seasons focused on classical and chamber music, this year, audiences will enjoy a program combining classic works of art with romantic love songs, perfectly suited to the time and the beautiful moments of Hanoi's autumn. Notably, these will be songs that have made the artists famous.

"Golden Autumn" Season 3 is divided into three parts. Part 1 features classical operas performed by renowned classical chamber music artists who are also lecturers at the Vocal Department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music: People's Artist Quoc Hung, Dao To Loan, Phuc Tiep, etc.

Part 2 features timeless works, songs about autumn, and songs associated with the names of famous Vietnamese artists such as People's Artist Quang Thọ, People's Artist Quốc Hưng, singers Lan Anh, Tân Nhàn, Phương Nga, Lê Anh Dũng, Phương Uyên, Bích Hồng, Hương Ly…

Part 3 features the special appearance of two guest singers, Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam and singer Quang Ha. Both are renowned artists who studied and grew up in the Vocal Music department. The two artists returned to the school to perform in November as a way of expressing their gratitude to their teachers and the school that helped them soar to great heights.

Thanh Lam and Quang Hà turned down many other programs to accept the invitation to perform without receiving a fee.

People's Artist Quoc Hung said: "The 'Golden Autumn' live show" This year's program will be large-scale, well-organized, and modern in terms of artistic content, sound, and lighting. The participating artists are all leading artists in their respective genres. Generations of teachers and students are proud to stand together on this stage, showcasing the continuation of the school's fine traditions. This includes successful students from the Vocal Music department such as Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam and Quang Hà.

Everyone was very excited and proud to be on the same stage in such a meaningful program. When we called to invite them, the artists immediately accepted, declining other programs to perform for the school. Perhaps on November 20th, everyone wants to return to the place where they studied, to express their gratitude to their teachers and their beloved school."

In her role as producer of the show, singer Tan Nhan - Deputy Head of the Vocal Department - affirmed that the "Golden Autumn" live show will bring audiences a polished, high-quality, and captivating artistic program in every aspect, while still asserting its uniqueness compared to other shows.

The songs in the program not only celebrate the beauty of nature, express the romantic emotions of the human soul before autumn, and portray the beauty of love and life, but also remind everyone to always love and strive for good things, dedicating themselves wholeheartedly to this beloved life.

The Golden Autumn live show will take place on the evening of November 17th at the Concert Hall of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, 77 Hao Nam, Hanoi.
