Ho Chi Minh City delegation and Becamex Group participate in the Forum in Korea

On the afternoon of August 13, 2025, a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City led by Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, participated in the Ho Chi Minh City and Busan City Business Forum to promote trade connection activities in the Busan area.

Under the witness of Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Becamex Group signed Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation with major Korean corporations.

At the Forum, representative of Becamex Group, Mr. Nguyen The Duy - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director of the Group introduced to Korean enterprises about the industrial infrastructure of Ho Chi Minh City after the merger. In which, Becamex Group plays the role of a leading industrial developer of Binh Duong province (old) as well as of Ho Chi Minh City (new) with a complete industrial ecosystem, oriented to develop according to the model of ecological industrial parks, industrial symbiosis, complete infrastructure with many added values for investors when coming to Ho Chi Minh City.

Overview of the Ho Chi Minh City and Busan City Business Forum program

Within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City - Busan Business Forum this time, Becamex Group also signed Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation with Korean corporations in the following fields:

1. Busan Port Corporation (BPA): establish a strategic partnership and promote cooperation between the two sides in the fields of port infrastructure development; logistics and supply chain connectivity; remote area development and industrial projects; digital transformation and smart industrial ecosystem; smart, environmentally friendly port system.

2. Korea Land Corporation (LH): implement the "Urban Growth Partnership Program" to strengthen cooperation between the Parties on the basis of government- to-government (G2G) cooperation, aiming to build Ho Chi Minh City into a typical smart city of Vietnam, and at the same time stipulate the content of cooperation between the Parties to concretize and promote the UGPP Project related to smart urban development and industrial parks according to the smart urban development plan of Ho Chi Minh City.

3. LS Electric Company (LSE): cooperates in technical development and implementation of Smart Factory solutions in Vietnam such as Digital Twin, MES, Warehouse Management System, AMR/AGV, Machine Vision Inspection System...
