Van Mai Huong incorporates elements of bolero and ca trù (traditional Vietnamese folk singing) into her new album.

At noon on December 11th, singer Van Mai Huong will officially release her 5th studio album titled "Giai Nhan" (Beautiful Woman). This is a music project that has been eagerly awaited by both music professionals and audiences.

With " Giai Nhan ," Van Mai Huong continues her collaboration with musician and producer Hua Kim Tuyen. The album includes 9 songs: "Bao Boi ," "Vuon Hong ," " Nhat Tinh ," "My Vi ," "Uot Long, " " Vung Xam ," "Mon Qua," "Phong Thanh ," and "Khep Man ." The songs were written by Hua Kim Tuyen along with young musicians J4RDIN, Hurrykng, Trid Minh, Dlight, Harosé, and Melly, based on Van Mai Huong's personal story.

The album blends distinctly East Asian musical styles with a modern feel, exploring and combining diverse genres such as Pop, City Pop, Afrobeat, Bolero, Bossa nova… and even pentatonic music and traditional Vietnamese folk singing.

Hurrykng collaborates with Van Mai Huong for the first time.

“This time, we're sharing stories, losses, lessons learned about love, and emotions worth preserving. This is a reflection of the woman in Huong: gentle yet steadfast, hurt but not defeated. After all, 'Giai Nhan' ( Beautiful Woman) is a tribute to those fragile souls who still choose to move forward, with all their gentleness,” Van Mai Huong shared.

Van Mai Huong performed several songs from her album "Giai Nhan" at the launch event on December 10th, before the album's official release on December 11th.

Throughout her more than a decade pursuing music, Van Mai Huong has released 5 albums: Hãy cười cười ( 2011 ), Mười tám + (2013), Hương (2021), Minh tinh (2023), Giai nhân ( 2025 ). At the same time as the release of Giai nhân , she also released the vinyl version of Minh tinh .
