On the evening of December 10th, in Ho Chi Minh City, the organizers of the Miss World Vietnam competition announced the Top 50 Miss World Vietnam contestants and shared specific information about the competition.
At the launch event, the Top 50 showcased designs by fashion designer Tuan Khoi. Miss World Vietnam 2024 Huynh Tran Y Nhi and runner-up Huynh Minh Kien also appeared in this launch segment for the contestants.
Speaking about the new features of this year's competition, General Director Hoang Nhat Nam - representing the organizing committee, said that the competition will not have a final round like in previous years, but the Top 50 from the preliminary round will directly compete in the final night to find the new Miss.
“About 70% of the contestants are new faces, most of them over 1.7 meters tall. Besides their fresh beauty and outstanding physique, most contestants showed confidence in communication, the ability to present clearly, and clear thinking. Many also scored points with their foreign language skills such as English, Chinese, French…,” director Hoang Nhat Nam commented.
As part of this year's competition, the organizers will hold the "Dances of Vietnam" costume design contest for the first time. The two winning costumes will accompany Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc and the new Miss Vietnam to the Miss World 2025 and 2026 competitions.
The organizers announced that the competition is divided into two stages. In the first stage, contestants will participate in the announcement of the Top 50 and the fashion show at the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest XIII “Season of Joy” event, which will be held on December 13th.
Phase 2 will take place in March 2026. The Top 50 will gather and begin participating in preliminary competitions such as the Head To Head Challenge, Talent Contest, Sporty Contest, and Charity Contest… On March 20, 2026, contestants will perform in the art show "Dances of Vietnam". The final is expected to take place on March 24, 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.
