Delegates attending the Emulation Congress of Lao Cai province's armed forces offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs.

On the morning of July 13th, ahead of the congress, the delegation attending the Provincial Armed Forces Emulation Congress for the period 2019-2024 held a ceremony to offer incense in commemoration of the heroic martyrs.

Attending the incense offering ceremony were: Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Duong Duc Huy, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, mass organizations, armed forces, districts, towns, and cities; and exemplary delegates representing 38 collectives and 154 individuals who are outstanding examples in implementing the Emulation Movement for Victory in the provincial armed forces, 2019-2024.

The wreath laid by the delegation bore the inscription "Forever remembering the gratitude owed to the heroic martyrs." In a solemn and moving atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers in remembrance and expressed profound gratitude for the immense contributions of the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed their lives and blood for the independence and freedom of the country and the nation.

Respecting and remembering the sacrifices of previous generations, over the past five years, the provincial armed forces have actively implemented the "Determined to Win" Emulation Movement in conjunction with other patriotic emulation movements, creating momentum to encourage collectives and individuals to strive to excel in fulfilling their assigned tasks, contributing to enhancing the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers".

The delegation observed a moment of silence before the memorial to the heroic martyrs.

Before the spirits of the martyrs, the delegation pledges absolute loyalty to the goals, ideals, and revolutionary path chosen by the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and our people; to continue promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style; and to vow to "live, fight, work, and study following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh," united in heart and mind, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, striving to achieve many accomplishments worthy of the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.
