A DELEGATION OF PRESTIGIOUS PEOPLE FROM LOC BINH COMMUNE AND THONG NHAT COMMUNE VISITED AND WORKED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF ETHNICITY AND RELIGIONS OF LANG SON PROVINCE

On the morning of November 8, 2025, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lang Son province welcomed a delegation of prestigious people from Loc Binh and Thong Nhat communes to visit and work. The host of the delegation was Mr. Lam Van Vien, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, along with representatives of specialized departments under the department. On the delegation side, there were 67 people who were leaders, professional civil servants of the commune and prestigious people from Loc Binh and Thong Nhat communes, Lang Son province.

At the working session, the leaders of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions reported to the delegation the results of implementing the policy for prestigious people in Lang Son province. According to the report, by the end of October 2025, 05 training conferences for prestigious people had been organized, with 317 delegates attending; 05 delegations were organized to visit and learn from experiences inside and outside the province with 176 delegates attending; prestigious people were provided with 01 copy/person/issue (Lang Son newspaper) and 01 copy/person/month (Development of Ethnic Minorities Newspaper) according to the prescribed regime; well implemented the visiting work (visiting sick prestigious people, visiting prestigious people and relatives of deceased prestigious people in more than 50 cases); giving gifts to prestigious people on the occasion of Lunar New Year reached 100% .

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions presented 54 gifts to prestigious delegates of Loc Binh and Thong Nhat communes.
