Delegation of Dongxing City (China) congratulated Mong Cai City (Vietnam) on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), on August 30, the delegation of the Party and People's Government of Dongxing City (China) visited and congratulated Mong Cai City.

The delegation of Mong Cai City (Vietnam) was led by Comrade Nguyen Van Do, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council. The delegation of Dongxing City (China) was led by Comrade La Tuong Chau, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Dongxing City People's Congress, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.

In his welcoming speech, Comrade Nguyen Van Do, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Mong Cai City (Vietnam) expressed: Mong Cai City is pleased and respectfully welcomes the Delegation of the Party and People's Government of Dongxing City (China) to visit and congratulate the 79th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024).

Leaders of Dongxing City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China presented gifts to the Party Committee, government and people of Mong Cai City on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, September 2 (1945-2024).

In 2024, the 74th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations, the friendship of "both comrades and brothers" was established by President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong and has been cultivated by many generations of leaders of the two countries. Over the past time, that friendship has always been inherited and developed by the people of Vietnam and China; especially after the visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping in 2023 and the visit to China by General Secretary and President of Vietnam To Lam which just ended successfully on August 20, 2024, Vietnam-China relations continue to expand and deepen in all fields.

In that spirit, Mong Cai city (Vietnam) and Dongxing city (China) have always made efforts to implement important common perceptions of senior leaders of the two Parties and two countries, cooperative relations between the two provinces and regions, and agreements and memorandums of understanding on establishing cooperation mechanisms.

On the basis of the good and substantive cooperation between Mong Cai City and Dongxing City over the past time, Mong Cai City (Vietnam) hopes that in the coming time, the relationship between the two localities will continue to be consolidated and developed to a new height, continuing to strive to be a typical example in the local-level border cooperation between Vietnam and China.

The leaders of Dongxing City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China congratulated and presented gifts to the Party Committee, government and people of Mong Cai City on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), expressing their determination to continue to further strengthen the traditional relationship, cooperation and development, wishing the solidarity and friendship between Mong Cai City (Vietnam) and Dongxing City (China) to be increasingly consolidated and developed.
