Commendation for the citizen who picked up more than 117 million VND and brought it to the police to return to the owner

QNgTV- A woman in Son Ha commune dropped more than 117 million VND. Luckily, a local resident picked it up and brought it to the commune police station to return it to the owner.

Son Ha Commune Police, Quang Ngai Province, has written a document requesting the local government to promptly commend and reward a citizen who picked up a large amount of cash and brought it to the Commune Police, asking them to verify and find it and return it to the owner.

Previously, on the evening of December 1, Ms. Huynh Thi Vang (in Lang Bo residential group, Son Ha commune), a Viettel employee, after collecting money from customers on the way home, accidentally dropped her bag (containing nearly 118 million VND) while hanging on the front of her motorbike. When she got home, she discovered it and went back to look for it but could not find it. Ms. Vang immediately went to Son Ha commune police to report. Upon receiving the information, on the evening of December 1, Son Ha commune police widely announced on the Zalo group "Son Ha commune community" to find the person who picked up the money that Ms. Vang dropped.

On the morning of December 2, Ms. Pham Thi Hue (born in 1979; living in Lang Bo residential group, Son Ha commune) went to the Son Ha commune police station, bringing a bag (containing a large amount of cash) to report that she had picked it up on the evening of December 1.

Immediately, Son Ha Commune Police invited Ms. Vang and her husband to come to confirm the bag containing the money and check the actual amount of money. After confirming the bag and the amount of nearly 118 million VND of Ms. Vang, Son Ha Commune Police made a record and completed the procedures to hand over the above amount of money between Ms. Hue and Ms. Vang.
