On the afternoon of April 4, the train carrying military officers, soldiers and militia forces to Ho Chi Minh City to prepare to participate in the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) arrived at Da Nang station.
The train was led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the station, the parade participants received a warm welcome from the local people. More than 300 officers, soldiers, armed forces and youth union members stood in a line to welcome the train as it stopped at the station. Many tourists at the station also came to take photos with the forces.
Drinks and snacks are also prepared by Da Nang city to encourage the forces participating in the parade.

Speaking to welcome the delegation, Mr. Tran Thang Loi, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Da Nang City Party Committee, sent his best wishes to the forces participating in the parade.
Mr. Loi emphasized that participating in the parade and marching during the anniversary is a special political task. This is both an honor, a pride, and a responsibility to contribute to affirming the great stature of the historic victory of April 30, 1975, as well as the spirit and strength of great national unity in the resistance war for independence, freedom and national reunification.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Defense , the parade and marching groups of the army and militia forces have nearly 3,200 people, divided into 5 groups marching to the South on 5 trains.
Of which, four trains will depart from Hanoi station on April 3 and 4; train number 5 will depart from Tam Ky station, Quang Nam province.

The parade is expected to take place solemnly within the framework of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, held at 8:00 a.m. on April 30, on Le Duan Street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) with more than 13,000 participants.
The parade of 35 armed forces was jointly organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, while the parade was organized by Ho Chi Minh City.
