The Vietnam Press Museum has undergone 5 years of formation and development, initially building a valuable information storage space for journalists and the public nationwide.

Here, members of the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association visited the exhibition space according to each theme and development process of Vietnam's revolutionary press, saw with their own eyes the artifacts, the first newspapers of the country according to each historical period associated with each journalist and the touching stories behind those artifacts...

Among more than 20,000 rare artifacts and documents, there are artifacts and newspapers that are important milestones marking the birth of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press. These are valuable documents about the first issues of newspapers: Gia Dinh Newspaper, Thanh Nien, Tieng Dan original, or unique souvenirs that were indispensable luggage for journalists working on the battlefield.
Many items used by journalists during the years of war to protect the nation are solemnly displayed at the Museum.
The exhibits and documents on display aim to highlight the pioneering mission of Vietnamese journalists of all generations, in all regions from the South to the North; to demonstrate the pioneering role of the press - an effective tool to broaden people's knowledge, revive national spirit, promote national self-reliance, democracy and social progress; a sharp weapon in the struggle for independence, building and defending the Fatherland; an important factor contributing to the building of Vietnamese people and culture today.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Long - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Office of the Vietnam Journalists Association shared: Visiting the exhibition area of journalistic artifacts of the previous period - in the fire of the resistance wars, patriotic journalists were soldiers on the ideological front, using their pens to arouse patriotism, truly fueling the next generations - journalists in peacetime who contributed to building a professional, humane and modern journalism.
