At the first Autumn Fair - 2025, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai, Operations Director, Anh Kim Food Production Joint Stock Company (AK FOOD) shared with reporters of Tin Tuc and Dan Toc newspaper about the expectations of businesses when participating in the Autumn Fair 2025.

Could you tell us the business's goal when participating in the 2025 Fall Fair?

Currently, the company specializes in producing packaged and sterilized products at 121 degrees Celsius, such as fresh rice, fresh porridge, meatball soup, instant porridge... For the domestic market, AKFood's products have been distributed in most major retail systems such as AEON, LOTTE, C'Mart, Bach Hoa Xanh, Con Cung and many other systems.

For this Autumn Fair 2025, the company participated mainly to connect and work with a number of partners. We hope that in the near future, these connections will be implemented into contracts and specific orders. At the first Autumn Fair - 2025, AKFood had the opportunity to meet and exchange with a system of several supermarkets, which are partners that we hope to bring products into their business system.

In addition, through the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies, the company also hopes to be able to step up promotion to expand product exports to foreign markets.

Currently, AKFood has exported to the US, Australia and New Zealand. In the near future, the company has signed a memorandum of understanding with a partner in Cambodia and is preparing to export the first order to this market. We hope that through connection programs such as the Autumn Fair 2025, Vietnamese businesses will further improve their competitiveness compared to imported products.

According to you, what solutions are needed to support businesses in expanding the domestic market?

Enterprises hope that the Ministry of Industry and Trade and related units will continue to organize many trade promotion programs such as fairs and exhibitions. In addition to the Autumn Fair 2025, if more events can be organized during Tet or Spring, it will be a great opportunity for enterprises to display and introduce products and reach partners faster.
In addition, direct connection sessions between businesses and domestic distribution systems will be effective and suitable for businesses. If businesses have to search and connect individually, it will take a lot of time and miss out on cooperation opportunities.

How does the company plan to meet the increased consumer demand during the upcoming Tet holiday?

The company is always ready to supply both domestic and export markets. We maintain a certain amount of inventory to be able to meet orders as soon as they arise.
Based on sales data from previous years, the company expects demand for Tet to increase by about 20-30%. Therefore, AKFood has planned to increase production accordingly. In addition, before each peak season, we discuss with retail systems and partners to forecast the number of orders, thereby proactively planning production to ensure adequate and timely supply to the market.
