Will Weverson Leandro come to Hanoi FC to play?

It is known that the Brazilian star will end his contract with the Japanese team in early July and travel to Vietnam to negotiate with the V-League champion.

On the transfer website Transfermarkt, Weverson Leandro is valued at 800,000 euros (more than 20.5 billion VND).

At his peak, this player had a transfer value of up to 1.5 million euros (more than 38.5 billion VND) in 2013.

Also in 2013, Weverson Leandro was called up to the Brazilian national team by coach Felipe Scolari.

In the friendly match against Bolivia, the 1993-born star was brought on to replace Ronaldinho and he was also the one who scored the winning goal in a 4-0 victory for the "Selecao".

In that match, Neymar was arranged to play from the start and scored a double.

A few days later, Weverson Leandro continued to be given the opportunity by coach Felipe Scolari to play in the match against Chile.

In 2014, he was a member of the Brazil U21 team that won the Toulon friendly tournament in France, making 6 appearances and scoring 1 goal.

At the beginning of his career, Weverson Leandro played for clubs in the Brazilian national league such as Gremiro, Palmeiras, Santos and Coritiba.

In 2017, the Brazilian player moved to play for Kashima Antlers.

After 2 seasons, Weverson Leandro scored 15 goals in 64 matches. Contributed greatly to helping Kashima Antlers win the 2017 Japanese Super Cup and the 2018 AFC Champions League.

The Brazilian striker then moved to FC Tokyo and has scored 29 goals in the past three seasons.

With his class and rich playing experience, the 30-year-old striker promises to bring a new breeze to Hanoi FC's attack.

Previously, the capital team said goodbye to two foreign players, Lucao and William Henrique, due to failing to meet expectations.
