On the morning of December 4, at Dong Tac fishing port, Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station ( Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard) received 3 fishermen in distress in the eastern area of Truong Sa, who were brought safely ashore by local fishing boats.
Previously, at 6:52 a.m. on November 28, fishing boat PY-96202-TS with a capacity of 400 horsepower owned by Mr. Luong Cong Hau, while exploiting seafood in the area east of Truong Sa, about 320 nautical miles from the coast of Khanh Hoa , encountered bad weather due to the influence of storm No. 15 , causing the boat to break water and sink.
Immediately after the incident, a local fishing boat promptly approached and rescued two fishermen. At the same time, the navy discovered and rescued another fisherman, bringing all three fishermen to Son Ca Island.

By the morning of December 4, fishing boat PY-96310-TS of Mr. Le Van Hien, residing in Phu Yen ward, Dak Lak province, had brought 3 fishermen in distress to Dong Tac fishing port safely. Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station sent military doctors to conduct initial health check-ups, support with food, rest and carry out procedures according to regulations.
Regarding the incident, earlier, at around 9:30 p.m. on December 1, the Navy on Son Ca Island discovered a body drifting onto the island. Through the identification of the survivors, the body was Mr. Le Van Cuong, a fisherman on the fishing boat PY-96202-TS.

It is expected that ship HQ-633 of Naval Region 4 will bring the victim's body to Cam Ranh port.
Currently, Tuy Hoa Border Guard Station is coordinating with local authorities to complete documents and support the families of the victims.
