Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received Amata Group

On the morning of December 18, Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, received Ms. Somhatai Panichewa, CEO of Amata Vietnam, to discuss the Group's investment in Quang Ninh in the coming time.

At the reception, Ms. Somhatai Panichewa, General Director of Amata Vietnam expressed gratitude for the companionship and support of Quang Ninh throughout the process of investment deployment and implementation of ideas for production and business development in the province.

A favorable investment and business environment, prioritizing resources to accelerate the development of synchronous and modern infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and comprehensiveness, has brought confidence, peace of mind, commitment and investment expansion of Amata in the province. In particular, the Song Khoai Industrial Park project invested by Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company in Quang Yen town has achieved many important results in investment and development, with 19 secondary investors, total registered investment capital of about 2.8 billion USD.

To continue promoting development in Quang Ninh, Ms. Somhatai Panichewa, CEO of Amata Vietnam, proposed that the province continue to support the extension of project implementation progress, promote cooperation in developing clean energy sources; and adjust targets and criteria to attract secondary investors.

Comrade Pham Duc An, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that in recent years, Quang Ninh has been known as one of the leading localities in terms of development speed, a province with an increasingly attractive investment and business environment with a modern administration, sustainable local governance to effectively serve the people and businesses. Quang Ninh also has many preferential policies, committed to supporting and accompanying investors, including strategic investors such as Amata Group.

In the spirit of cooperation for mutual development, Quang Ninh will create the most favorable conditions for administrative procedures, land, site clearance; meet human resource needs, provide convenient public services, open, favorable, equal and transparent investment and business environment to promote the development of investors as well as attract high-quality secondary investors.

Regarding the proposals of Amata Group, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Duc An assigned relevant departments, branches and localities to continue to coordinate, accompany and advise to resolve; ensuring the successful and sustainable development of the Group in Quang Ninh.
