According to the damage report, the storm damaged 109 houses and about 29.78 hectares of crops. Along with that, hundreds of electricity, traffic, welfare and irrigation works were affected; the total damage is estimated at over 13 billion VND.

After inspecting the site and listening to the report on the remedial work, comrade Hau Minh Loi praised the proactive spirit of the Party Committee, the government and the local forces of Yen Minh commune. They were especially proactive in responding, promptly evacuating people from dangerous areas, overcoming the consequences, and ensuring the safety of people's lives.

He requested Yen Minh commune to continue to closely follow the province's instructions to soon complete the review and statistics of damage, and support people to restore production. At the same time, urgently deploy measures to prevent and combat storm No. 11 (Matmo) that may affect in the coming days. In particular, do not be subjective or negligent, ensure absolute safety of people's lives and property; forces must be ready to respond promptly when situations arise.
