Comrade Le Quoc Minh visited veteran journalists of Quang Nam-Da Nang province.

At the meetings, comrade Le Quoc Minh kindly visited, expressed his respect and sent his best wishes to the veteran journalists, hoping that they would continue to contribute their enthusiasm and intelligence to the development of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism in the new period.

Towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), on the afternoon of May 19, comrade Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association visited and presented gifts to a number of veteran journalists who held important positions at press agencies in Quang Nam and Da Nang city.

The delegation led by comrade Le Quoc Minh visited veteran journalists including: Journalist Ngo Quy Nhon, former Editor-in-Chief of Quang Nam- Da Nang Newspaper (1992-1996), former Editor-in-Chief of Da Nang Newspaper (1997-2007); Journalist Ho Duy Le, former Editor-in-Chief of Quang Nam Newspaper (1997-2005); Journalist Le Hoang Linh, former Director of Quang Nam Provincial Radio and Television Station (1997-2010).

At the meetings, comrade Le Quoc Minh kindly visited, expressed his respect and sent his best wishes to the veteran journalists, hoping that they would continue to contribute their enthusiasm and intelligence to the development of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism in the new period.

He affirmed that with their prestige, experience and professional qualities, the previous generation of journalists with their sharp pens have made many great contributions to the building and development of press agencies in Quang Nam - Da Nang over the years.

Comrade Le Quoc Minh emphasized that veteran journalists are the ones who have inspired, guided, and trained many generations of young journalists, creating a team of journalists who are strong in character, passionate, and sharp in expertise and professionalism.

Inheriting and promoting that tradition, the team of young journalists today will constantly cultivate political qualities, improve professional qualifications, skills and sense of social responsibility to contribute to the cause of developing a humane, modern and professional Vietnamese revolutionary press, contributing to the country entering the era of national development.

Thanking and appreciating the sincerity of the Working Group as well as comrade Le Quoc Minh, the veteran journalists expressed their belief in the leadership of the Party, State and Government towards the press in the new era.

Journalists expressed their hope that, in the context of the whole country promoting administrative reform and streamlining the apparatus, revolutionary press will continue to promote its pioneering role and strongly innovate in thinking, organization, content, and form of expression to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation./.
