Accordingly, the Congress elected and announced the Executive Committee of the City Party Committee for the 17th term, consisting of 52 comrades. The Executive Committee of the Hue City Party Committee for the 17th term, 2025 - 2030, held its first meeting to elect the Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretaries, the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee and Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 17th term.

Specifically, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee consists of 15 members. Comrade Nguyen Van Phuong was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 17th term, 2025 - 2030.

Comrade Nguyen Van Phuong, born on December 29, 1970, hometown in Phong Son commune, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien - Hue province (now Phong Thai ward, Hue city); professional qualifications: Master of Economics , Civil and Technology Engineering, Bachelor of Mathematics; Senior in Political Theory. From April 2016, he held the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province, until June 2021, he was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province, now Hue city.

The Deputy Secretaries of the Hue City Party Committee, term XVII, include Pham Duc Tien, Phan Thien Dinh and Nguyen Chi Tai. The Executive Committee also elected the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, consisting of 11 members. Comrade Pham Thi Minh Hue, Head of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term XVI, was re-elected as Head of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term XVII.

At the Congress, delegates discussed the documents submitted to the 17th City Party Congress and draft documents submitted to the 14th Party Congress.

Hue City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Phuong said that immediately after the Congress, the Standing Committee will urgently prepare the contents to organize the City Party Committee Conference, issue a Resolution to implement the Congress Resolution; at the same time, assign specific tasks to each City Party Committee member, and build the working regulations of the City Party Executive Committee for the new term.

Comrade Nguyen Van Phuong suggested that the City Party Committee members from now on focus on a number of urgent tasks such as: Reviewing the socio-economic development targets for 2025, focusing on drastic direction to complete them, especially the economic growth target of 10%; scientifically and carefully preparing the 2026 development plan of each industry and each locality. Along with that, proactively respond to complicated weather developments, review natural disaster prevention plans, promptly handle arising situations to ensure the safety of people's lives and property; strengthen national defense and security, maintain political stability, social order and safety in the area.

Pay attention to personnel work after the Congress, especially with comrades who are not old enough to be re-elected to the Party Committee, streamline the apparatus and operate effectively. The City Party Committee's Organizing Committee is responsible for advising the Standing Committee to complete documents and procedures to submit to the Central Committee for approval of the election results of key leadership positions. City Party Committee members continue to coordinate with the Presidium to lead and organize the implementation of the agenda of the City Party Congress.

The Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee called on the entire Party Committee, people and army of the city to unite, maximize internal strength, organize and successfully implement the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress, in conjunction with the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, bringing Hue into a new stage of development.
