Dong Giang appoints personnel for specialized agencies under the District People's Committee after reorganization

The conference announced the Resolution of the Dong Giang District People's Council on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee.

Specifically, establish specialized agencies under the District People's Committee including: Department of Ethnicity and Religion; Department of Economy , Infrastructure and Urban Area; Department of Culture, Science and Information; Department of Agriculture and Environment; merge the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs into the Department of Home Affairs.

Reorganize the professional agencies under the District People's Committee including: Office of the People's Council and the District People's Committee; Department of Education and Training takes over the functions and tasks of vocationaleducation from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. Maintain the professional agencies under the District People's Committee including: District Inspectorate; Department of Finance - Planning; Department of Justice.

Specialized agencies come into operation from February 18, 2025.

The conference also announced the decisions of the Chairman of Dong Giang District People's Committee on the transfer and appointment of heads and deputy heads of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee.

Accordingly, Mr. Doan Ngoc Binh was appointed as Head of the Department of Ethnicity and Religion; Mr. Nguyen Duc Huy as Head of the Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas; Mr. Coor Le as Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Le Minh Tuan as Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information; and 8 deputy heads of departments were appointed.

Decisions on staff transfer and appointment take effect from February 18, 2025, with a term of office of 5 years.
