This is both a new goal and task, and demonstrates the high political determination of the entire Party Committee of the Division. To turn the goals and determination into reality, right after the congress, the Party Committee of Division 10 led and directed agencies and units to deploy the resolution to all officers and soldiers. Each Party Committee and each organization concretized it through resolutions, action programs, long-term plans and monthly, quarterly and annual plans to excellently complete all assigned tasks, constantly improving the overall quality and combat strength of the Division.

The Division Party Committee led and comprehensively deployed solutions to strongly innovate political and ideological education , arousing the tradition of "Solidarity - Unity - Resilience - Determination to Win" of the unit that was twice awarded the noble title of Hero of the Armed Forces by the State in all officers and soldiers, thereby striving to forge mettle, train will, and build determination to achieve achievements in the new period. Political and ideological education aims to build people closely linked with organizational building; taking the results of completing the unit's tasks as a criterion to evaluate the level of task completion of each officer and soldier.

The Division has carried out political and ideological education work synchronously and regularly, in association with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style and the Campaign to promote tradition, contribute talent, and be worthy of the title of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era through creative models and good practices such as: "Model Military Council", "Exemplary and regular training ground", "Model classroom", "Training ground band", "Ideological whispering", "Internal radio broadcasting in ethnic minority languages" and the policy of "3 realities", "3 decisiveness", "3 exemplary"...

A key solution implemented synchronously by the Division Party Committee is to build strong party organizations in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres. In particular, "Taking the Party cell as the center" and replicating and improving the effectiveness of the model of grassroots party committees, departmental party committees, and "Four Good" party cells. Resolutely implementing measures to manage, educate, and train party members; promptly reviewing, screening, and removing unqualified party members from the Party, while promoting and improving the quality of party membership admission and building a team of cadres with qualifications, knowledge, comprehensive capacity, good expertise, working methods and styles in the spirit of "7 dares".

Continue to build a lean, strong, revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and modern Division. Implement "4 innovations" in training (innovation in management, command and operation; innovation in content; innovation in organization and methods; innovation in training assurance) and consistently follow the leadership policy of "1 focus, 3 breakthroughs" and "3 substance" in each training content.

Ensure good technical condition, ready to perform tasks in all situations.

Organize training for units and officers and soldiers to master the techniques and tactics of weapons and equipment according to the new organization of the infantry division (peacetime), with strong firepower. Strengthen night training, situational training, improve mobility, river crossing; train closely with plans, targets, and combat areas. Focus on making good use of the division's combat experiences and achievements in modern science and technology and practice confrontation tactics at all levels; practice command and agency exercises on maps and in the field with live ammunition, gas bullets, explosives; practice combined rounds with live ammunition...

Proactively lead and deploy logistics and technical work in a comprehensive and synchronous manner in both breadth and depth, ensuring the combat readiness and regular operations of the unit. Deploy emulation movements such as "The Army's logistics sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings", "Good military feeding unit, good military supplies management", "5 good military medical units" in a practical and effective manner. Link the implementation of the Campaign "Good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment" with the Determination to Win Emulation Movement, build and replicate advanced models in the preservation and use of weapons and technical equipment.

The mass mobilization work of Division 10 contributes to spreading the qualities and image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, building a strong "people's hearts and minds position".

In addition to the training and combat readiness tasks, the Division focuses on leading and directing the good performance of mass mobilization work with the motto "Mind thinks, eyes see, ears listen, feet walk, mouth speaks, hands do". Regularly and closely coordinate with local Party committees, authorities and forces in the area to promote the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization", build "Good mass mobilization units"; strongly spread the qualities and noble image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period and the heroic Division 10 soldiers among the people. Thereby, building trust, affection, solidarity and close ties between the Division and local Party committees, authorities and people.

Division 10 was born and trained through many battles, many major campaigns, and achieved many resounding victories in the resistance war against the US, saving the country and building and defending the Fatherland. In the new era, officers and soldiers of the Division join hands, are united, and determined to excellently complete all tasks, creating the premise for the Division to achieve the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces for the third time (in the renovation period), meeting the requirements of the task of firmly protecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new situation.

Division 10 also has 3 regiments, 6 battalions, 7 companies and 13 officers and soldiers awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces. Of which, Regiment 66 was honored to be awarded the title of Hero 3 times; Regiment 24, Battalion 4 (Regiment 24) and Company 2 (Battalion 7, Regiment 66) were awarded the title of Hero twice.
