In order to encourage innovation and creativity in teaching and learning, the provincial Departmentof Education and Training has launched and widely and effectively implemented the initiative writing movement among cadres and teachers. Through the movement, more and more topics and solutions with high practicality have been recognized and effectively implemented, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning in schools, meeting the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training.
With the integration and inclusion of educational content about local cultural heritage, class activities led by teacher Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, Yen Lac District Continuing Education Center, became much more exciting.
In addition to the work implementation content, during the activity period, students participated in games such as learning general knowledge related to local heritage in the form of a TV game show; visiting and traveling "virtually" through the "unlimited" classroom model. In particular, Ms. Lan flexibly used performing arts and dramatization during the activity period to increase the attractiveness, recreating the performance space of some local cultural heritages...
Thereby, creating excitement, reducing pressure for students in class activities, contributing to building a friendly school, active students. At the same time, improving knowledge and understanding of local cultural heritage, arousing in students love for their homeland, country, and desire to contribute. From the practical results, the method of implementing class activities associated with local heritages was chosen to be expanded to high schools and Vocational Education and Continuing Education Centers throughout the province.
Teacher Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan shared: For teachers who work as homeroom teachers, homeroom hours are an extremely valuable time to carry out work, correct discipline, train students, arouse their interest, creativity, and educate life skills in a focused and effective way. As a teacher of Literature and concurrently a homeroom teacher, I always worry and think about methods to improve the quality of the subject in the classes I am teaching and the quality of the homeroom class. Therefore, I have researched and developed the topic "Using local heritage education activities to improve the effectiveness of homeroom hours".
To create a favorable environment and encourage the SKKN writing movement among teachers, the Department of Education and Training has launched and widely implemented the SKKN writing movement in conjunction with movements and campaigns of the industry such as "Teach well - learn well"; "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning"; "Each teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity"... At the same time, establish an initiative council, an emulation and reward council; organize the selection and evaluation of the implementation results of initiative topics; organize many academic playgrounds, promote innovative thinking and creativity of teachers.
In addition, schools actively promote the purpose and significance of the movement; encourage and motivate staff and teachers to boldly put forward ideas and seek solutions to improve work efficiency; focus on emulation and reward work, promptly commend and replicate effective scientific and technological achievements.
The effective implementation of the SKKN writing movement has encouraged teachers to make efforts to research, explore, and apply new teaching methods suitable for each subject and student; promote the application of information technology to bring high efficiency in the teaching process, as well as improve the effectiveness of management work at schools.
Researching and writing scientific research papers has created opportunities for each teacher to self-study, self-improve, and hone their scientific and creative thinking. Scientific research papers are shared and replicated to help managers and teachers in the whole industry have more conditions to study and exchange good practices and effective measures in management and teaching.
Over the years, the SKKN writing movement has been continuously expanded in scale, quantity and quality. In the period 2020 - 2025, the provincial Department of Education and Training had 3,047 initiatives recognized for their effective application and scope of influence at the sectoral level; in particular, 261 typical initiatives were recognized for their effectiveness and scope of influence at the provincial level.
Among them, many initiatives are highly appreciated, have a widespread effect and are widely deployed throughout the province such as "School model connecting with the community" by teacher Le Huy Minh, Principal of Hop Ly Secondary School (Lap Thach); "Educating secondary school students to reduce hyperactive and inattentive behavior in learning" by teacher Ha Thi Mai Hoa, To Hieu Secondary School (Vinh Yen); "Using local heritage education activities to improve the effectiveness of class time" by teacher Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan, Yen Lac District Continuing Education and Vocational Education Center...
The movement of writing scientific research papers is spreading more and more strongly and widely throughout the provincial education and training sector. It is not only a competitive activity but has become an intrinsic need of each cadre, teacher and student - those who constantly strive for the cause of educating people.
With the orientation of innovation, creativity and practical application, the Department of Education and Training continues to widely promote the emulation movement of writing scientific research projects, promote training, support, evaluation and replication of typical initiatives, creating conditions for valuable topics to be widely applied in educational institutions.
