The weather is sunny and cool, the National Exhibition Center becomes an attractive destination, attracting a lot of people, besides the sea of people gathered in the center of Hanoi to watch the parade.
The exhibition of national achievements "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" opened on August 28 at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
According to the original plan, the exhibition was scheduled to last until September 5th. However, due to the large number of visitors in recent days, the Prime Minister agreed to extend the exhibition until September 15th, creating more opportunities for people to visit and experience the exhibition, thereby spreading the message about Vietnam's 80-year journey of construction and development.
Too proud of the country's achievements
The National Exhibition Center opened to visitors at 9:00 a.m., but before 8:00 a.m., many people were already there.
After visiting the outdoor exhibition spaces of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security , and several localities, thousands of people lined up in front of the entrance halls to the Kim Quy exhibition house - where the key displays of the National Achievements Exhibition are concentrated.
Visitors to the exhibition often come in groups of families or young people. Not only visitors from Hanoi, but also people from all over the world come to see with their own eyes the glorious achievements of the country in all fields over the past 80 years.

As a former scout of Military Region 4, guarding the Military Region Command, and doing public service for Lieutenant General Truong Dinh Thanh, on the occasion of National Day September 2 this year, he was eager to go to the capital to witness the great celebration atmosphere of the country.

His son, Dau Dinh Dai, who lives and works in Hanoi, returned to his hometown in Nghe An to bring his parents to Hanoi to fulfill his elderly father's wish.
The whole family took a bus from Thanh Chuong, Nghe An on the evening of September 1. On the morning of September 2, Dai took his father, mother and son from his younger brother's house in Hanoi to the National Exhibition and Fair Center. The family's first stop was the space displaying the most modern equipment of the Vietnam People's Army.
Mr. Thanh held his grandson in his arms, posing for commemorative photos with all sorts of cars, tanks, and missiles. A contented smile was always on his face.
Although he had been following the news about the National Achievements Exhibition, Mr. Dai said he was very surprised when he saw the exhibition in person.
"It's so magnificent, I didn't think Vietnam's national defense in particular and our country in general would develop so strongly," said Dai, adding that he is very eager to continue exploring and see how Vietnam's science, technology, economy, and culture have developed.
Mr. Thanh's family story is also the common story of many people who went to see the National Achievements Exhibition on September 2.

Millions of people have discovered the country's achievements.
Regarding the large number of visitors to the exhibition on September 2, according to the records of the past few days, this is not a sudden change. The data released by the organizing committee shows that every day there are hundreds of thousands of people coming to the exhibition. The number increases over time, more and more crowded.
Over the five days of the exhibition, an estimated millions of people came to see the country's achievements during 80 years of independence, freedom, and happiness.
Attending the exhibition of the 679th Coastal Missile Brigade (Hai Phong) in the past few days, Lieutenant Do Van Hiep said that regardless of rain or shine, there are always many visitors from morning to night.
When it rains, visitors wear raincoats and hold umbrellas to view the defense equipment exhibition and other outdoor display spaces.
According to Tuoi Tre Online , the number of visitors to the exhibition was too crowded on the morning of September 2, especially in the Kim Quy exhibition house. Visitors often came in large groups of families with small children, so the organizers' loudspeakers continuously broadcast information about finding lost children.
