Traveling to Ho Chi Minh City to explore cuisine , take care of health, enjoy products and services related to rivers... are the common thoughts of many foreign tourists.
Nate (American tourist) shared: "This is my first time in Vietnam. It was wonderful that the people we met were very hospitable, friendly and warm. The scenery in the city was also very beautiful. From the cruise, we could see the entire skyline lit up and enjoy a memorable dinner."
According to travel businesses, the emergence of high-end and unique tourism products helps improve service quality, prolong length of stay and increase spending.
In particular, the expansion of administrative boundaries creates conditions for businesses to build regional tours, connect heritage and culture, and enrich tourism products.
To maintain growth momentum, in addition to year-end event chains such as river festivals, food festivals, etc., the city is expanding regional connections, exploiting the unique strengths of each locality to diversify tourism products.
Ms. Bui Ngoc Hieu (Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism) said: "Here we are looking to expand the professionalism of our services to other provinces and cities. And we coordinate with the Mekong Delta provinces to connect and reconnect with the city's tourism products, creating a chain of products so that tourists can diversify their experiences when coming to Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring regions and provinces."
This year, Ho Chi Minh City aims to welcome 10 million international visitors, 50 million domestic visitors, and generate VND290 trillion in revenue. With the excitement of the year-end tourist season, this target is expected to be achieved soon, contributing significantly to the city's overall growth.
