Bringing political and ideological education into depth and relevance to reality

The work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the Party's resolutions and directives have been studied, researched and implemented methodically and seriously by Party committees, agencies and units in Ha Tinh .

Methodical and innovative

In 2023, organizing a thematic meeting on the book by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong", the Party Committee of Thach Khe commune (Thach Ha) chose Phuc Thanh village Party cell as a pilot meeting. After being the pilot, all remaining Party cells organized activities, ensuring seriousness.

According to comrade Tu Ba Thao - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Thach Ha District Party Committee: "The Department has researched and distilled the content of the book into documents for Party cell activities; at the same time, guided the grassroots Party Committees to choose Party cells as pilot activities. At the pilot activities, the heads of the working delegations of the District Party Committee assigned members to attend and direct. After drawing experience from the pilot activities, the Party Committee organized and implemented mass activities."

The Party Committee of Thach Khe commune (Thach Ha) chose the Party cell of Phuc Thanh village to conduct a thematic meeting on the works of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Along with the Party cell activities, the District Party Committee has directed the District Political Center to integrate the content of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's works into the political theory training and fostering program; requested all levels of the Youth Union and Association to strengthen activities to foster ideals for members; organize forums, seminars, and talks... to widely propagate the content of the works and the resolutions and directives issued by the Party in recent times.

In Cam Xuyen, the implementation of the political and ideological activity about the work of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was carried out very carefully, in which the Party Committee of Cam Vinh commune was a typical example. “For this important content, we had to carefully research and organize the compilation of documents, then create slides for presentation and assign party committee members to convey at the party cells. The Party Committee requested the commune radio station to promote the book; at the same time, monitor and propose strict handling of violations in posting and disseminating incorrect information and viewpoints. The activity in our locality started in May and ended in July 2023,” said comrade Nguyen Sieu Cuong - Secretary of the Party Committee of Cam Vinh commune.

The book by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is an important document serving the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels.

Currently, all village cultural houses in Cam Vinh commune are equipped with wifi-connected projection screens to serve political and ideological activities, study, and dissemination of resolutions and directives. Conferences chaired by superiors will be connected from the commune hall to the village. Cam Vinh is also the first commune in Cam Xuyen to organize thematic activities "Keeping the Party member oath" and "Building 4 good Party cells" in 2023. Documents serving Party cell activities include works by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, especially the book "Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam".

Not only in Thach Ha and Cam Xuyen, political and ideological education work, especially conveying the contents of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's works, is being carried out seriously and methodically by Party committees and Party cells in Ha Tinh.

Many localities have launched a campaign on the work "Resolutely and persistently fight against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" associated with the activity "Self-reflection, self-correction".

Party committees at all levels have also reflected the contents of the General Secretary's works and the Party's resolutions on the practical political and ideological situation in Ha Tinh, relating them to the responsibilities of cadres, party members, union members, and association members, especially on issues arising at the local level and at the grassroots level such as: land acquisition for projects, implementation of new rural criteria, civilized urban areas, etc.

Continue to strengthen political and ideological education

Talking to reporters of Ha Tinh Newspaper about strengthening political and ideological work in the coming time, comrade Ha Van Hung - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized: 2024 is a very important year for the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set out in the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.

First of all, it must be affirmed that: strengthening political, ideological and ethical work in the Party at the present stage is an important content in building "Our Party is ethical and civilized". To effectively implement this content, the entire political system must engage in doing well the political and ideological work, the core being the Party Committee and Party cells: promoting education on revolutionary ethics, raising awareness of self-cultivation and training in political mettle, moral qualities, lifestyle, "self-reflection", "self-correction", promoting the honor and self-respect of Party members; creating spiritual motivation for cadres, Party members and the People to share the same will and action for the goal of "reaching the finish line" of the targets and plans determined at the beginning of the term.

Regularly introduce the core contents of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's books into Party activities; Party committees at all levels continue to focus on thoroughly grasping the contents on Party building and rectification, especially Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the Central Committee (term XIII), resolutions of the 8th Central Conference (term XIII), directives, resolutions, and conclusions of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on Party building and the political system; in which, focus on propagating Conclusion No. 48-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to reorganize district- and commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2030 period in conjunction with performing tasks in localities and units in Ha Tinh.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee met with key officials of communes, wards and towns; disseminated the content of the book by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong (morning of March 22, 2023).

Continue to propagate the implementation of the entire course on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in association with promoting the spirit of self-reliance, arousing aspirations and cultural traditions, and people of Ha Tinh to build a contingent of cadres at all levels with sufficient qualities, capacity and prestige to meet the requirements of socio-economic development of the province; promote the exemplary role of cadres and party members, especially leaders in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity; focus on building ethical standards and replicating typical models and examples in all fields, localities and units; strengthen and improve the quality of Party cell activities in the spirit of Resolution No. 16-NQ/TU dated August 28, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on innovation, improving the quality and effectiveness of Party cell activities in the new period. Focus on promoting major holidays and important political events of the country and homeland, especially the 120th anniversary of the birth of General Secretary Tran Phu, thereby multiplying pride in the glorious Party, the country and homeland, arousing the desire to contribute to the development goal of the province in every Ha Tinh person.

In the process of implementing the above contents, it is necessary to regularly and deeply connect with the reality of agencies, localities and units to identify advantages, point out limitations and difficulties, and from there discuss and debate solutions that need to be implemented in the coming time; pay special attention to promoting the exemplary responsibility of leaders of Party committees, localities, agencies and units. At the same time, pay attention to bringing the legitimate thoughts, aspirations and recommendations of the people into Party activities to further improve the leadership capacity of Party organizations, especially Party cells.

This is also a very practical and meaningful task to solve ideological problems for Party members and the People, contributing significantly to strengthening people's trust in the leadership of the Party in general and of Party committees at all levels in particular.
