Duc Phuc represents Vietnam to participate in the international music competition Intervision 2025

According to the draw results, singer Duc Phuc will perform in 20th place with the song "Phu Dong Thien Vuong" while musician Trong Dai was chosen as one of the members of the jury.

According to a VNA reporter in Moscow, on September 12, the performance order drawing ceremony of Intervision 2025 - an international music competition dubbed the "Eurovision of the Eurasian world" - took place at the Russian National Center.

The event gathered 23 artists from 23 countries, in which singer Duc Phuc was the representative of Vietnam participating in this competition and musician Trong Dai was a member of the jury.

The draw was held in a unique way: the performers were invited to stand next to a giant samovar and pour themselves a cup of hot tea. Under the influence of the heat, the performance number gradually appeared on the cup – creating a moment that was both surprising and very Russian.

According to the draw results, Duc Phuc will perform in 20th place with the song "Phu Dong Thien Vuong," a work imbued with national identity.

Meanwhile, the first five performers will be Cuban singer Zulema Iglesias Salazar, Kyrgyzstan trio Nomad, Chinese singer Wang Xi, Egyptian singer Mustafa Saad and American singer Brandon Howard. The host country, Russia, singer Shaman, will perform in ninth place with the song "Right in the Heart."

In a speech before the contest, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov emphasized that Intervision is a "music festival, a platform for dialogue between civilizations," contributing to enriching traditions and national identity.

“One of the goals of the competition is to showcase global diversity through music – an international language that needs no translation,” he affirmed.

The winner will be the contestant who gets the highest score from the jury through a secret ballot, receiving the Intervision crystal trophy and a prize worth 30 million rubles (nearly 360,000 USD).

All participating artists will receive a certificate from the Organizing Committee.

The organizers emphasized that Intervision 2025 promises to become an international forum where music cultures - from Eastern Europe to Latin America - intersect, together building cultural bridges, enhancing understanding and cooperation between countries./.
