Due to the impact of storms and floods, many localities in the northern mountainous region and the mountainous region of Thanh Hoa province are experiencing heavy rain, flooding, and landslides. In order to prioritize resources for overcoming the consequences of storms and floods, Thanh Hoa province will stop organizing some contents of the Lam Kinh Festival in 2024.

According to the report of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, asking for opinions on not organizing the contents of Lam Kinh Festival, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee agreed to stop organizing some contents of Lam Kinh Festival in 2024.

Specifically, stop organizing the procession of King Le Thai To's palanquin and Trung Tuc Vuong Le Lai's palanquin from King Le Thai To's temple and Trung Tuc Vuong Le Lai's temple to Lam Kinh Palace yard; the ritual part and art program of Lam Kinh Festival 2024 (announcement of reasons for introducing delegates, opening speech, drum beating to open the festival and theatrical art program with the theme "Lam Son's heroic spirit - Shining forever").

Unified to only organize incense offering activities at the Main Hall of Lam Kinh Historical Relic Site (reading congratulatory messages; offering incense to commemorate King Le Thai To and Lam Son martyrs).

The event will be held at 9:00 a.m. on September 24, 2024 (ie August 22, the year of the Dragon) at Lam Kinh National Special Relic Site, Lam Son Town, Tho Xuan District, Thanh Hoa.
