Railways temporarily suspend a series of trains due to flooding in Hue and Da Nang

Due to the flood situation in the Central region, tonight (October 27), the Railway industry will stop running a series of trains to ensure the safety of passengers and vehicles.

Accordingly, the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company will stop running trains SE1/2, SE3/4 departing from Hanoi and Saigon; and stop running trains SE19/20 departing from Hanoi and Da Nang on October 27.

In addition, on October 28-29, the "Connecting Central Heritage" train pair, Hours 1/2, Hours 3/4 departing from Hue and Da Nang , will stop running.

According to statistics from the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, the total number of passengers on the above trains affected was 2,700 passengers.

Passengers with tickets for the above trains can return their tickets at the station, free of charge, within 30 days. The Railway Transport Joint Stock Company has notified passengers via SMS, Zalo, website, fanpage...

The Railway industry's report shows that currently, at Km682+550-682+700, the water level on top of the rail is 70mm; at Km683+200-683+650, the water level on top of the rail is 185mm. In addition, the water level is rising and has reached the bottom of the girder of Bach Ho and Da Vien bridges ( Hue city)./.
