Ho Chi Minh Road, from Dong Giang to A Vuong commune, was temporarily opened to traffic in one direction at 2 a.m. this morning. However, this route still has a high risk of landslides on the hillsides.
Roads DT606 and DH5 to Tay Giang and Hung Son communes continued to be eroded in many sections, completely paralyzing traffic. In particular, the section from Ho Chi Minh City to Ateep village has been cut off since noon on October 28.
Meanwhile, A'ur village – located deep in the forest – has been out of contact for many days due to lack of electricity and phone signal, and severe road cuts.

Heavy rain in the upstream area continued overnight, causing water levels in rivers and streams to rise and currents to become strong, threatening the safety of many low-lying residential areas.

According to a quick report from A Vuong Hydropower Plant, at 7:00 a.m. this morning, the water flow into the lake reached 1,556 m³/s. The lake has been regulating the water level to maintain the normal level (NMS) since 8:00 a.m. on October 28. The average rainfall in the basin remains high (4-24 mm/h), the flow into the lake fluctuates from 1,100 to 2,377 m³/s. The hydropower project is currently safe, but some points on the access road have been eroded, including a large point causing traffic congestion.
In Tay An village (Hoa Xuan ward, Da Nang city), the weather remains complicated. Prolonged heavy rain has caused many roads to be deeply flooded, and the water level continues to rise.
