Ca Mau: Tornado collapsed and damaged 20 houses

On the morning of October 29, Mr. Mai Viet Trieu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Tung Commune (Ca Mau Province) said that a tornado had just occurred in the area, causing damage to many people's properties.

Tornadoes occur at night causing a lot of damage to people.

Previously, at around 9:00 p.m. on October 28, a strong tornado occurred in Thanh Tung hamlet (Thanh Tung commune).

The tornado completely collapsed 2 houses, 5 industrial shrimp farming huts, blew off the roofs of 15 houses, and affected 7 industrial shrimp farming ponds of local people; the total damage was about 910 million VND; fortunately, the tornado did not cause any human casualties.

Thanh Tung commune police and militia support people to overcome the consequences of tornado

Mr. Mai Viet Trieu informed that immediately after the incident, Thanh Tung Commune People's Committee directed the relevant agencies to quickly record the scene, support cleanup, ensure safety of the power grid and traffic for surrounding people.
