Tay Ninh: Crocodile escaped from cage and bit and injured one person

On October 29, the leader of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Tay Ninh province said that the provincial Forest Protection Department is coordinating with relevant units to verify the case of an escaped crocodile biting a person.

Previously, social networks spread information that an escaped crocodile bit a person in Hamlet 8, Tam Vu Commune, Tay Ninh Province.

Through verification, the person bitten was Mr. PTT, a teacher at a secondary school in Thuan My commune. Accordingly, while going to the garden to visit and catch fish, Mr. T. was bitten on the leg by a crocodile weighing about 8kg. He shouted for help and together with the people around caught the crocodile. The victim was also taken to the hospital for first aid and had his wound stitched up promptly.

Deputy Prime Minister was bitten on the leg by a crocodile.

Currently, authorities are investigating to clarify the origin of the crocodile and the responsibilities of the parties involved.
