EI Group connects golden opportunities for young Vietnamese people to work in Germany

From July 10-15, 2025, EI Group cooperated with the German Institute for Vocational Training (GIVT) to organize a series of student interviews, career orientation seminars and direct connections with German businesses .

EI Group was honored to welcome the Head of the German business delegation, Dr. Christoph Hoffmann - Chairman of GIVT, Member of the German Federal Parliament and one of the most influential figures in the field of international cooperation in vocational training.

The series of activities not only creates opportunities for EI Group students to directly approach businesses from Germany, but also affirms the capacity to implement international career cooperation programs of EI Group - one of the prestigious units in Vietnam in the field of language training and vocational study orientation in Germany.

Direct interview, opening the door to German businesses

On July 10 and 11, at EI Academy Hanoi , GIVT delegation organized direct interviews with 40 students from many industry groups: restaurant, chef, baker, retail, warehousing - IT, care and especially construction industry group.

Each candidate undergoes a two-part testing process: A one-hour written test to assess thinking and psychology; and a 20-minute personal interview that focuses on memorization, communication, and basic industry-specific practical skills.

Notably, the entire interview process is recorded and sent directly to German businesses for evaluation and selection of qualified candidates. This is a specific step in EI Group's strategy to increase the competitiveness of Vietnamese students in the German labor market, not only in terms of language but also in terms of professional competence and practical skills.

Workshop "Successful careers for young Vietnamese people in Germany"

On July 12, the German vocational study abroad consultancy workshop held at EI Group Academy in Hanoi attracted a large number of participants. Here, Dr. Christoph Hoffmann directly shared about the role of GIVT and the potential for cooperation with Vietnam in the field of high-quality vocational training.

“We need young people who are eager to learn, hard-working and ready to integrate. Vietnam has a lot of potential and we want to seriously invest in this human resource,” Dr. Christoph Hoffmann emphasized.

The event is also an opportunity for students to be guided through the application process, sign contracts with businesses, and exchange directly with GIVT representatives as well as EI Group's professional board.

Many questions surrounding visa policies, career paths and life in Germany have been answered in detail, creating more peace of mind for students on their journey to conquer their study abroad dreams.

Not stopping in Hanoi, the GIVT delegation's schedule continues to take place at EI Academies/branches across the country.

The workshop took place in an exciting and inspiring atmosphere.

On July 13, Dr. Hoffmann attended the opening ceremony of the German language class at address 243 of EI Group Headquarters Office and had a sharing session with all students on the topic "Why Germany needs Vietnamese human resources".

On July 14-15, the GIVT delegation continued to interview students at EI Group Ho Chi Minh City branch, and coordinated to organize a career orientation workshop, continuing to spread the practical value of this cooperation program to more provinces and cities.
