Ericsson's new office in Hanoi is the first Ericsson Vietnam office to be equipped with EVCN (Enterprise Virtual Cellular Network), a solution developed by Ericsson that allows businesses to manage and control 5G connectivity for mobile devices, especially 5G-enabled laptops, or IT applications in the office, via the 5G network instead of Wi-Fi.
With its new office now operational, Ericsson continues to strengthen its presence and reaffirm its commitment to supporting Vietnam's digitalization goals. At the opening ceremony, Ericsson showcased a range of advanced technologies, demonstrating the potential of 5G and modern connectivity solutions: Holographic Communication (a real-time 3D communication experience that redefines how people connect, overcoming distance limitations); XR Smart Glasses (AI-integrated smart glasses supporting real-time translation and navigation); Immersive Sports Fan Engagement (bringing the stadium atmosphere closer to fans through real-time statistical analysis...).
Ms. Rita Mokbel, President of Ericsson Vietnam, shared: “The opening of our new office in Hanoi reaffirms Ericsson’s long-term commitment to Vietnam. Together with our partners, we have contributed to laying the foundation for the 2G network, gradually developing it into 3G and 4G. As Vietnam moves towards a digital economy , we look forward to continuing to be a trusted partner, accompanying the nation on its journey of digital transformation and sustainable development.”
