
The Electricity Company maintains a 24/7 on-duty force, closely coordinating with local authorities to ensure electrical safety for people.
Currently, EVNCPC has 306,729 customers without power, accounting for 17.6% of the total number of customers of 3 Power Companies: Hue, Da Nang and Quang Tri, equivalent to 6.21% of the total number of customers of EVNCPC. The whole region has 2,975 distribution substations that are out of operation, accounting for 15.6% of the stations of 3 units and 5.17% of the total stations of EVNCPC. The estimated affected power capacity is about 192 MW, equivalent to 5.27% of EVNCPC's maximum capacity (Pmax = 3,646 MW).
Of which, Hue Electricity Company was most severely affected, currently 202,137 customers (58.86%) and 1,490 distribution substations (49.05%) have had their power supply cut off, with an estimated capacity loss of about 144.1 MW (52.97%). The areas still without power are in 25 communes and wards of Hue city, including: Phu Xuan, Huong An, Kim Long, Hoa Chau, An Cuu, Vy Da, Thuy Xuan, Thuan Hoa, Phong Thai, Phong Dien, Phong Dinh, Thanh Thuy, Loc An, Phong Quang, Dan Dien, Quang Dien, Thuan An, Phu Ho, My Thuong, Duong No, Kim Tra, Binh Dien, Huong Tra and Hung Loc.

Currently, EVNCPC has 306,729 customers without power.
At Da Nang Power Company, 104,219 customers (11.89%) and 1,477 distribution substations (14.37%) were without power, with an affected capacity of about 47.8 MW (4.9%). The areas still without power in 33 communes and wards include: Tam My, Hoi An Tay, Go Noi, Lanh Ngoc, Phuoc Gia, Thang Dien, Phuoc Thanh, Dien Ban Tay, Ben Hien, Que Phuoc, Nong Son, Tra Leng, Hoi An, Thu Bon, Dong Duong, Thuong Duc, Viet An, Dien Ban, Tra My, Hoi An Dong, Nam Phuoc, Vu Gia, Hiep Duc, Que Phu, Tra Giap, Tra Tan, Dai Loc, Tra Doc, Ha Nha, Phuoc Hiep, Song Tra and Hoa Tien.
At Quang Tri Electricity Company, 373 customers (0.07%) and 8 distribution transformer stations (0.14%) have not been supplied with electricity, with an estimated loss of capacity of about 0.15 MW (0.04%). The affected areas include parts of Trieu Phong, Ta Rut and Dakrong communes.

Power grid restoration work is facing many difficulties due to floodwaters still inundating large areas.
EVNCPC is on duty 24/7, making efforts to restore power in the Central region after floods.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Khanh, Deputy General Director, Head of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of EVNCPC, said that the Power Companies are maintaining 24/7 on-duty forces, closely coordinating with local authorities to ensure electrical safety for people, and promptly inspect and restore power supply as soon as the water recedes and safety conditions are ensured.
"EVNCPC prioritizes electrical safety in flood-affected areas. The Corporation has directed units to concentrate human resources and materials, ready to restore power as soon as the weather permits, ensuring safety for people and electrical equipment," Deputy General Director Nguyen Huu Khanh emphasized.
