Fernandes closes future

Midfielder Bruno Fernandes continues to reject a new offer from Al Nassr Club, thereby affirming his commitment to Old Trafford.

Coach Jorge Jesus, who recently took over at Al Nassr and previously coached Fernandes at Sporting, personally pushed for the deal. With Cristiano Ronaldo in the mix, Al Nassr believed they could lure the 30-year-old to the Middle East. However, Fernandes refused.

This is not the first time Fernandes has been targeted by Middle Eastern giants. Previously, he rejected a huge offer from Al-Hilal, with a salary of up to 200 million pounds over 3 seasons.

"The president of Al-Hilal called me directly. They were waiting for me. But coach Ruben Amorim advised me not to go, and MU also did not want to sell," Fernandes revealed in June. According to Daily Mail , this time things have not changed as he and MU are still aiming for the same goal in the new season.

Al Nassr has just successfully recruited Joao Felix from Chelsea for 50 million euros, showing clear ambition in building a high-class squad to compete for the Saudi Pro League championship and reach the world level.

Meanwhile, Fernandes is touring the US with MU and preparing for the final friendly match against Everton. Sharing about the future, he said: "I will stay until the club says it's time to leave. One day if they want to sell me for profit, I'm ready to accept. That's the nature of football."
